- Biographical Note:
- Dr. Elliott Roy Barrick, Army veteran, received his B.S. from Oklahoma State University and his M.S. and Ph.D. from Purdue University. He joined North Carolina State University in 1949 as a faculty member in the Animal Science Department and stayed with the University for the next 32 years. During his time with NCSU, he acted as Head of Animal Husbandry and served on the Faculty Senate while teaching, researching and participating in various activities regarding the N.C. livestock industry. Barrick was also active in various societies and national organizations.
