- Biographical Note:
- Hart received his B.S. in Textile Management from N.C. State College. In 1954 he was appointed Assistant Director of Foundations. He promoted the Engineering and Architectural Foundations, pioneered in the establishment of the "Wills and Bequest" Program, the "Talent for Service" Scholarship Program and the 4-H Development Fund. In 1977 he became Special Development Officer for North Carolina State University Continuing Education and raised funds for landscaping and building an addition to the Jane S. McKimmon Center. He retired in 1984. (N&O 8-4-93).
