- Biographical Note:
- Gwen Emery was raised in Alabama and earned her B.A. in interior design from the School of Architecture at Auburn University. She worked for interior design firms in Atlanta, GA, and in New Haven, CT, before working on projects for NCSU Libraries, including the James B. Hunt Jr. Library, and eventually becoming Director of Library Environments.
