- Biographical Note:
- Albert Banadyga received a B.S. and M.S. from NC State College in 1942 and 1949, and his Ph.D. from University of Wisconsin. He served as an Extension Horticultural Specialist at NCSU beginning in 1953. In 1969 he was placed in charge of Extension horticulture work at NCSU. Banadyga was awarded the Bittner Extension Award in 1975. In 1978 he was named a Fellow in the American Society of Horticultural Science.
