- Biographical Note:
- Carl J. Dolce received his A.B. degree from Tulane University in 1947, his M.Ed. from Loyola University in 1955, and his Ph.D. in Education from Harvard University in 1963. Prior to being named Dean of Education at NCSU in 1969, Dolce was Superintendent of Schools for New Orleans, LA. While with North Carolina State University, Dolce had various leadership roles in state and national committees. He retired from the University in 1988.
