- Biographical Note:
- Robert E. Cook received his B.S. and M.S. from West Virginia University and his Ph..D in poultry genetics from NC State. Later in his career, Cook left his position as Chairman of the Department of Poultry Science at Ohio State University to head the Department of Poultry Science at NC State in 1969.
