Item information

Title:
RBC Center, Wolfpack Fan Zone
Description:
The RBC Center was built 1997-1999. The building was originally funded by the North Carolina legislature and North Carolina State University, splitting the cost in half between them; however several other groups provided funding as the construction costs rose. The RBC Center is the home of the North Carolina State University men’s basketball team and the Carolina Hurricanes, an NHL team. In 2002, RBC Centura, the US division of the Royal Bank of Canada which owns several banks in North Carolina, bought the rights to the name of the center.
