Matthew Williams served as president of NC State’s Student Government from April to June 2013 before resigning from the position. Williams ran on a platform to enhance communication between Student Government and the student body. He proposed to accomplish this by improving the school website with new features and regular updates.
Before becoming president, he served on the Packapalooza Planning Committee for two years (2011-2013). In 2014, Williams graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government.

In 2016, Williams returned to NC State University, serving in Alumni Relations as the Coordinator of Constituency Groups.
