Khari Cyrus served as president of NC State’s Student Government from 2015 to 2016. An important part of his platform was inclusion and diversity. While Student Body President, he served on the NC State Board of Trustees and was a member of the following committees: University Affairs and Audit, Risk Management, and Finance. Cyrus was also a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity where he served as the 2014-2015 chapter president and as the Second Vice District Representative from 2014 to 2016. Cyrus graduated in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science - American Politics.

Important accomplishments of during Cyrus’s time as student body president were the Missouri Solidarity Act, the It’s On Us campaign to end sexual violence, and the Student Government Town Hall on Racial Climate.
Cyrus is currently pursuing a law degree at the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
