Alexander Parker served as president of NC State’s Student Government from 2013 to 2014. He became president during the summer of 2013 when Matt Williams resigned from the position. Parker had been serving as the Student Senate President at the time. Earlier he has served as a senator. He was also involved in Teaching Fellows, Caldwell Fellows, and CSLEPS. In 2014-2015 Parker served as president for the Association of Student Governments (comprised of all universities in the University of North Carolina System). He graduated from NC State in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in International Studies, Pre-Law.

During Parker’s presidency, Student Government passed Bill 69, which established the position of student body vice president. This improved the line of succession in the event of a presidential resignation. It also shifted some of the workload from the president to the vice president.

After graduation Parker pursued a law degree at Campbell University’s Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law.
