Brett, Charles H. (Charles Henry), 1909-1978

Biographical Note:
Charles H. Brett received his B.S. and M.S. from the University of Nebraska and his Ph.D. from Kansas State University. He was Associate Professor at North Carolina State University from 1952-1960, and appointed Professor in 1960. He developed a method of controlling wireworms that threatened sweet potato crops. In 1971, he received the annual award for outstanding research presented by the NC Entomological Society. He was a former President of the Society.
