Brennecke, Cornelius Godfrey

Biographical Note:
Cornelius G. Brennecke (1906-1954), a nationally known teacher, physicist, and engineer, received his A.B., B.S., and E.E. degrees from Columbia University and his Ph.D. from New York University. Brennecke joined NC State in 1945 as Head of the Electrical Engineering Department. While with NCSU, he served as State’s representative on the Council of the Oak Ridge Institute of Nuclear Studies and on various other technical and professional societies. He was employed by NCSU until his death.
