- Biographical Note:
- James F. Biggane graduated from MIT and joined the Maytag Company in 1945. There he organized and headed the Industrial Engineering Department. Biggane retired from the Maytag Company to join the faculty of the University of North Carolina in 1970. Biggane served on various committees during his professional career.
