Burns, Robert P., 1933-2005

Biographical Note:
Robert P. Burns (1933-2005) received his B.S. in architecture from NCSU in 1957 and his M.S. in architecture from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He joined the faculty of the School of Design at NC State shortly thereafter, was promoted to Full Professor, and served as Head of the Architecture Department two separate terms. Burns was appointed the Director of the School of Architecture in 2001.
