- Biographical Note:
- Nausbaum earned his Ph.D. in 1934 from the University of Wisconsin. He became Professor of Plant Pathology in 1948, and also was Acting Head of Plant Pathology from 1948-1950. In 1956 he was named William Neal Reynolds Distinguished Professor. He retired in 1973. His discoveries led to disease control practices for growing tobacco.
