- Biographical Note:
- Gerald O. T. Erdahl received his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin in 1940 and later worked as Director of the University of Wisconsin’s Student Union. He used this working experience upon coming to N.C. State when he founded the College Union in 1949, which he directed for 12 years. Following his death, the University established the Gerald Erdahl Memorial Fund to provide short-term emergency loans to students at N.C. State.
