- Biographical Note:
- Hart received his B.S. in 1959, M.S. in 1961, and his Ph.D. in 1964 from NCSU. He was a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at NCSU for a number of years. He became Associate Dean of Engineering for Research, and later, Vice Chancellor for Research at North Carolina State University. In 1993 he returned to the Vice Chancellor for Research position.
