- Biographical Note:
- J. C. "Jay" Wells received his M.S. from the University of Georgia in 1950. In 1950 Wells was hired as an Extension Professor of Plant Pathology. He is currently Professor Emeritus in Plant Pathology. His expertise is in diseases of peanuts, corn, small grain and cotton.
