Turner, William L.

Biographical Note:
Turner graduated from NC State Collge with a B.S. in Economics in 1948 and an M.S. in Economics in 1950. He earned a D.P.A. in Public Administration from Harvard University in 1958. Turner became Farm Management Specialist at NCSC, and in 1955 he became Public Affairs Specialist. In 1956 Turner was appointed In Charge, Extension Farm Management at State and received faculty rank of Extension Professor of Agricultural Economics. In 1962 Turner was Business Manager at State, and from 1965-1969 he was Administrative Dean for University Extension. In 1973 he became Vice Chancellor for Extension and Public Service. Turner retired in 1988.
