- Biographical Note:
- Furney Albert Todd received his B.S. in Plant Pathology from NC State College in 1943. In 1955 Todd returned to NCSC as an Extension Tobacco Disease Specialist. While with the College, Todd developed Research on Wheels, a program designed to disseminate information to local communities about tobacco disease control, and a pest management program.
