- Biographical Note:
- A member of the Agricultural Extension Service for 41 years, Professor of Extension research and training, Foreign Visitor Contact Officer from 1950-1975, and Head of the Program Department of the State College Agricultural Extension Service when he retired in 1969. He received a “Certificate of Cooperation” from U.S. Agriculture Secretary Earl L. Butz in 1972. Sloan graduated from NCSU in 1928.
