- Biographical Note:
- Clarence C. Scarborough joined the faculty at NCSU in 1949 shortly after receiving his second M. S. degree from the University of Illinois. As Professor in the School of Education, Scarborough continued his studies with the University of Illinois and earned his Ed.D. in 1951. Shortly thereafter, NCSU named Scarborough Head of the Agricultural Education Department; he held this position until 1973.
