- Biographical Note:
- Kriz received his Ph.D. from the University of California at Davis in 1965. From 1965 to 1969, he taught and researched in the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering. He started the Animal Waste Management Program at N.C. State during that time. From 1967 to 1973, Kriz was Associate Head of Extension in the same department. In 1973, he moved into research administration in the College, where he remained until his retirement in 1999. Among his contributions is the establishment of the George J. and Rhoda W. Kriz Faculty Study Leave Endowment in the North Carolina Agricultural Foundation Inc. --from Perspectives On Line, Fall 1999.
