- Biographical Note:
- Pugh graduate from N.C. State College with a B.S. degree in 1951, and a M.S. degree in 1954. He received his Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University in 1961. He was a Graduate Assistant at N.C. State University from 1953 to 1954. In 1954 He became Farm Management Specialist from 1954 to 1959 and Agricultural Policy Specialist from 1961 to 1962. In 1962 Pugh was promoted to Extension Economist, In Charge Farm Management and Public Affairs. Pugh was named Philip Morris Extension Specialist at North Carolina State University for four years in 1980. He retired in 1984.
