- David F. Ollis received his Ph.D. from Stanford in 1969. By 1987, Ollis was Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering at State. Ollis returned to teaching shortly thereafter. Holding the title Distinguished Professor of Chemical Engineering, Ollis was honored with many awards.
