- Biographical Note:
- Nesbitt earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees from N.C. State. He received his Ph.D. from Rutgers in 1966. He became Assistant Professor in 1966, working in the NCSU Agricultural Research Service. He was a grape breeder and developed 6 new grape varieties.
