- Biographical Note:
- Major Goodman earned his M.S. and Ph.D. in genetics from NCSU. He received the NCSU Outstanding Ph.D. Award in 1965, the Sigma Xi Research Award in 1973, and the O. Max Gardner Award in 1987. He has been a Professor of Crop Science, Statistics, Genetics and Botany over his career.
