- Biographical Note:
- Glazener received his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland in 1949 and his B.S. from NC State University in 1943. Hired as an Associate Professor in 1946, he became a Professor in 1949. From 1955-1960 he served as Head of the Department of Poultry Science and Professor of Poultry Science and Genetics. Glazener was appointed as Director of Academic Affairs, School of Agriculture and Life Sciences in 1960, and as Associate Dean and Director of Academic Affairs, School of Agriculture and Life Science in 1973. He retired in 1986.
