- Biographical Note:
- Erika S. Fairchild was both Professor of Political Science and Associate Dean of the College of Humanities at N.C. State University. Following her death, the University established the Erika Fairchild Symposium in her honor. The Department of Political Science also created a financial award in Fairchild’s name for students.
