- Biographical Note:
- George Heyward "Floopy" Dunlap received his B.S. in Textiles at Clemson College in 1928 and did graduate work at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Pennsylvania State University. In 1943 he joind NC State as Textile Consultant and placed hundreds of students within the textile industry. In 1960 Dunlap received the Man of the Year Award from Phi Psi Society. He retired in 1965.
