- Biographical Note:
- Michael deGruy, a member of the NC State Swim Team, graduated from the University with a Bachelor's degree in Marine Science in 1975. Shortly thereafter, deGruy became an award-winning film producer, director, and cinematographer of wildlife, water and volcanoes.
