- Biographical Note:
- Albert R. Crawford joined NC State as Wrestling Coach and Assistant Athletic Trainer in 1946. He stayed with the University until his retirement in 1964. Prior to arriving at NCSU, Crawford was named three-time National AAU Light-Heavyweight Wrestling Champion and winner of the Light-Heavy Olympic title at Stockholm, Sweden in 1938.
