- Biographical Note:
- Dr. Sirus Chitsaz earned his Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from NC State in 1975. From 1978 to 1983 he was Adjunct Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering. In 1983 he was appointed Associate Professor and was also named Director of the Industry/University Cooperative Research Center for Communications and Signal Processing (CCSP) at NCSU. The Center, supported by the National Science Foundation and corporate industrial sponsors, has the primary objective of conducting basic and applied research in communications and signal processing technologies.
