Black, Chester Dunlap, 1929-

Biographical Note:
Chester D. Black received his B.S. degree in 1950 and his M.S. degree from the University of Missouri, and his Ph.D. in Adult Education from NCSU in 1969. In 1970 he was Assistant Extension Director of 4-H, in 1976 he was the Assistant Extension Director - County Operations, and in 1979, Associate Director, North Carolina Agricultural Extension Service. In 1982 he was appointed Director of the North Carolina Agricultural Extension Service. He also served as Associate Dean of the School of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
