- Biographical Note:
- Joseph F. Brooks earned his Bachelor's and Master's degree in Horticulture and his doctorate in adult education from NC State. In 1960, Brooks joined the NCSU staff as a Horticulture Research Assistant, and in 1962, he was appointed Extension Horticulturist. In 1976, Brooks was promoted to Extension Professor. He was named as a recipient of the Outstanding Extension Service Award in 1983.
