- Description:
- This folder holds tables containing statistics from official variety tests on hybrid plants, as well as reports made from these testing programs in North Carolina. The variety tests were required by North Carolina's State Seed Law before the hybrid crops could be offered for sale. The Official Variety Tests were recorded through cooperation with the North Carolina Department of Agriculture. Also included in the folder are correspondence, memorandums, forms, and a pamphlet from the N. C. Agricultural Experiment Station titled, "Official Variety Testing in North Carolina."
