- This folder contains office records related to N. C. State's Crop Science Department's cooperative research on plant diseases with the Agricultural Research Council of Central Africa. The Agricultural Research Council was a team of scientists from Malawi, Rhodesia, and Zambia who studied legumes to develop disease-resistant legumes. The Rockefeller Foundation gave grants and support for the institutions' research and travel. Staff of the Crop Science Department visited Council scientists to share their research in peanuts.
