- This folder contains office records related to N. C. State's School of Agriculture receiving funding from and working with the Rockefeller Foundation, most notably in programs studying plant genetics in Latin America. A very prominent project involved studying corn variations in Mexico. The records include a grant proposal from the Department of Genetics to the Rockefeller Foundation for "support in graduate training and research in quantitative genetics and breeding methodology," as well as correspondence between the two institutions.
