The D. H. Hill Jr. Library will be closed beginning on Monday, May 5, 2025, for planned electrical work. The Special Collections Research Center is located in Hill Library, and will be closed for all appointments during this period. Special Collections can only make appointment requests until April 25th and after August 3, 2025. During the closure, Special Collections staff will be available to answer questions about our collections, if they are accessible, and to support researchers using digital materials for their research. This folder contains the report "Immediate Solar-Energy Utilization Using Greenhouse Bulk Curing and Drying System" by B. K. Huang and C. G. Bowers, Jr., and prepared for the National Science Foundation. It was the final report for a grant project, researched during the period covering January 1975 to April 1976. The project studied an efficient system of utilizing solar energy for bulk curing tobacco in a greenhouse. The final report includes tables filled with information, charts, diagrams, photographs, mathematical formulas, and an analytical simulation for the greenhouse thermal circuit.
