- Description:
- This folder contains records related to agricultural machinery made to efficiently plant cotton seeds and distribute fertilizer in the field, powering it with only one mule. Developed at North Carolina State College, the "Once Over" machine was designed to save time and labor for cotton farming, especially for small farms. The records include an instructional manual titled "The Design of a Once-Over Fertilizer Distributor-Seed Planter" with diagrams, a pamphlet and flyer advertising the machinery, operational guides, and other information.
