- Description:
- This folder contains records related to agricultural machinery made to efficiently plant cotton seeds and distribute fertilizer in the field, powering it with only one mule. Developed at North Carolina State College, the "Once Over" machine was designed to save time and labor for cotton farming, especially for small farms. The records include memorandums of agreement and contracts regarding the commissioning and ownership of the development of the machine, correspondence and memorandums, and an article reprint titled "A New Fertilizer Distributor and Planter for the Southern Farmer."
