This folder contains a research report titled "Factors Affecting the Nicotine Content of Flue-Cured Tobacco," the Agronomy Research Report No. 8 published by North Carolina State College's Agricultural Experiment Station. It was a joint contribution between N. C. State's Department of Agronomy and Plant Pathology. The report covers the different factors that develop the nicotine content in flue-cured tobacco used for making a finished cigarette. These factors include the varieties of flue-cured tobacco, the fertilization of the tobacco plant, and its soil condition.
