Vogler of Mount Airy (left), junior in mechanical engineering, and J. C. Yancey of Newton, junior in textiles, are the 1956-1957 winners of Burlington Industries Foundation Scholarships at North Carolina State College. The scholarships, valued at $1,000 each, are payable to the winners over a period of two years at the rate of $500 a year for the junior and senior years of college and are awarded on the basis of top-ranking academic achievements. Vogler has a "A" average and was named a Companion of St. Patrick, highest engineering honor society for freshman. Yancey has a "B" plus average and is a member of Phi Eta Sigma, honorary freshman fraternity; and Tomkins Textile Society. --rp--
