Summer 2025 closure

The D. H. Hill Jr. Library will be closed beginning on Monday, May 5, 2025, for planned electrical work. The Special Collections Research Center is located in Hill Library, and will be closed for all appointments during this period. Special Collections can only make appointment requests until April 25th and after August 3, 2025. During the closure, Special Collections staff will be available to answer questions about our collections, if they are accessible, and to support researchers using digital materials for their research. All wood fence made from Juniper
Description:
Transcribed from back: [#509; Made By R. W. Graeber]; An "All Wood Fence" build without use of nails. This fence is manufactured by Wright Shaw, Bladenboro, N.C., R.F.D. Both posts and rails are made from Juniper. Such a fence should last without repair for 20 years or more. Mr. Shaw has shipped 18 miles of this fence to Pennsylvania farmers.
