Farm tenants at forestry meeting
Transcribed from back: Farm Forestry Series [#236] By R. W. Graeber, Extension Forester; Mr. B. B. Everett, Palmyra, Halifax County, in speaking to his tenants says, "Boys we've go to learn how to cut our fire-wood without destroying our stand of timber. You will want wood next year and many other years. You will also want work a few extra days each year for wages. If we destroy our timber I won't have anything for you to do between crops." This picture shows Mr. Everett, County Agent J.B. Britt and a group of Mr. Everett's tenants at a forestry meeting Mr. Everett had just passed out a couple crates of "pop".
