- Transcribed from accompanying material: In spite of the extremely hot and dry weather it is a common sight to see the cattle in Cabarrus county grazing on Korean lespedeza [Korean clover] following small grain or Korean seeded in permanent pasture. Korean lespedeza is one of the principal plants furnishing grazing in Cabarrus from June to September inclusive. (Enclosed find snapshot of Woodside Guernseys, Concord No. 2, grazing Korean lespedeza seeded in permanent pasture.
