Main Building of the 4-H club camp on the land of the Mountain Test Farm, Buncombe County. This camp is located in the midst of a wooded area. The camp site consists of approximately 12 acres and is surrounded on all sides by forest lands. Forestry will be one of the features of instruction at future club encampments. Tree indentification, timber measurement and estimating, and forest thinning and management will be included in the course of instruction. Extension Forester R.W. Graeber visited the camp during the past season and reports finding, on the camp site alone, 32 different kinds of trees and about a score of woody shrubs. What an opportunity for Club members to learn North Carolina Trees!
