- Image 9 of 9; Transcribed from back: The land clearing operation in pictures 2, 3, 5, 6 and 9 show the 55-ton land cruiser and tree crusher at work. Even in this dense jungle this machine can cover 1 hectarea an hour. The dry woody material is burned in November and December. It is then seeded and grazed lightly the first year. Beginning the second year this land will support two cows and calves per hectarea.
