- Transcribed from back: Farm Forestry Series by R.W. Graeber, Extension Forester. #350. 1930. A pen of pulpwood. Wood cut five feet long and stacked five feet high. Six such pens of average wood are equivalent to one cord of 160 cubic feet. This wood was "winter peeled" with drawing knives during the month of March. R.W. Graeber's farm, Guilford County.
