Transcribed from back of photo. Farm Forestry Series 1930 By R.W. Graeber, Extension Forester #387J.W. Myers, Salisbury, R # 5, caught in the act of cracking black walnuts for market. Myers sells kernels on curb market at 75 cents per lb., and says, "I make my spare time worth $3.00 to $5.00 per day doing this work".
